A wind chill calculator helps measure this effect in numbers. It combines air temperature and wind speed to give a single value called wind chill temperature. For example, if the air temperature is 0°C and the wind speed is high, the wind chill value may feel like -10°C or even colder. This does not mean the temperature has dropped; it means your body is losing heat at a faster rate.
