Many people think a Snow Day Calculator is just for fun. But it can actually be useful. Parents can plan childcare. Students can prepare homework early. Teachers can plan lessons better. Even though it is not perfect, it gives a helpful estimate. A Snow Day Calculator does not control school decisions. Only school districts can close schools. The calculator only predicts based on data. So sometimes it may say 80% chance and school still opens. Other times it may say 30% and school closes.
