Operations Oversight: Lead all facets of day-to-day operations for a high-end, upscale 121-room luxury boutique ocean front resort (part of the Meritage Collection) encompassing a workforce of 150 personnel, while maintaining a primary focus on achieving the property management company’s Pacific Hospitality Group (PHG) standards of excellence; successfully converted the property to AAA 4 Diamond and Forbes Standards. Profit & Revenue Growth: Maximized revenue per available room (RevPAR) by $134.3K in 2019, $130.4K in 2018, and $117.4 in 2017, in turn surpassing net operating income (NOI) with revenue accelerated overall profit growth by $1.7M in 2017, $2.8M in 2018 and $800K in 2019 to previous year. Digital Marketing & Advertising: Pioneered development/launch of digital marketing strategies designed to maximize hotel’s position within the digital market space, effectively expanding brand awareness and guest attendance. Sales Strategy: Attended international trade shows throughout Asia, Europe, South and North America as an ambassador to progressively drive promotion of hotel on a global scale increasing occupancy from 55% in 2016 to 72.7% in 2017, 85.7% in 2018 and 87.0% in 2019. Quality Assurance: Drove property’s quality assurance scores to an unprecedented rate of 92% from 2017-2020, the highest score throughout the entire history of the company. Awards & Recognition: Achieved numerous accolades for superior levels of excellence in service and quality, including: o Travel + Leisure World Best Awards: #1 Hotel in all of Hawaii, #48 in Best Hotels of the World 2017, and T+L and Conde Nast #1 Hotel in Kauai, Hawaii for four consecutive years (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020). o Achieved AAA Four Diamond and accepted the Forbes Stars Travel Guide in 2019 and 2020. o #1 Fine Dining Restaurant in Hawaii for RED SALT Restaurant (Open Table and Hawaii Magazine) in 2018, 2019. o Winner of the 2018 “PHG Hotel of the Year”.
